Sacramento is one of 25 cities getting new traffic signs designed to increase awareness of motorcyclists on the road.
Allstate Corp. said it will place yellow, diamond-shaped caution signs at hundreds of intersections in major metropolitan areas around the country.
The traffic signs feature a motorcycle silhouette and the words "LOOK" to remind car drivers to watch out for motorcyclists.

"Taking one extra second at an intersection to look left, right - and left again - for motorcyclists could make our roads safer," said Keith Rutman, vice president of Allstate's consumer household unit.
